Alchemist (formerly Common Rooms) opened in 2006 with the mother of all launch parties. Alchemist is a stunning retro style bar club on St Johns Hill 5 mins from Clapham Junction with a 2am licence Friday/Saturday and 12am weekdays for private parties. The venue is decorated in opulent gold and purple wallpaper with low designer seating stylish and decadent ambience. The venue is arranged with a dance floor, and a quieter mingling seated area and is ideal for parties mid week of between 150-200+ people and at weekends for party groups of 10-100 people.
